About the Artist

I was born in Seoul Korea 1980, moved to California when I was 8
years old. I spent most of my life in the IE (Ontario), for those
that don't know the area it's a boring place to live, but I still
love it because of all the friends I have here.

I got my BA in Studio Arts at UC San Diego, and one day I would
like to retire in La Jolla, San Diego; the weather and people
are awesome there.

My art background goes back to when I was a child in Korea,
I remember drawing at home and entering art contest, I won
several medals and honors as a young artist. I continue to
pursue my career as an artist all throughout my life. I studied
and experimented mostly in the traditional media through most
of my high school and college years, I think it is very
important to understand and build a good foundation in the
traditional media first. Although I've familiarize myself with
the digital media throughout high school and college, it wasn't
until after college I concentrated on the digital media. I mostly
work in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Painter.
Throughout my career I've studied famous artist and their unique
styles, anyone from Da Vinci to Jim Lee. I've also studied various
art styles, such as Anime, Comic book, and Cartoon styles. I've
created my own style gathered from these studies.

I have experience in different art related field,
I've done work for the film/TV industry and advertising.
I am currently working as a Graphic Designer in the apparel
industry. I still make time to work as a freelancer,
creating Pin up art and working as a concept illustrator
